Hunting Guide School
Guide School training includes the following:
- horsemanship for the mountains
- horse health care
- horseshoeing
- packing
- setting up a back country camp
- wilderness survival
- fishing
- guiding elk, deer, bear and Antelope hunters
- archery and rifle hunting,
- elk bugling
- photography
- Forest Service regulations
- first aid/CPR
- trophy care and caping ( seasonal)
- plus many other necessary skills
Only 2 Guide School courses per year!
Summer 4 weeks: June 15th – July 15th
Class size is limited to only 8 students
Fall 4 weeks: August 10th – September 10th
Class size is limited to only 8 students
Advanced skills courses available: (must have successfully completed one of the basic courses above).
Extended guide school course for Fishing with actual clients
July 16th – 26th Class size is limited to only 8 students
Extended guide school course for Big Game hunting with actual clients shadowing a professional guide
Class size is limited to only 4 students per session!!!

- October 1 – 14th
- October 15th – 31st
Tuition:
- The tuition for the 4 week course is $4000.00.
- The advanced skills guide training is an additional $1000.00 per session..
- 2 students per guide training course will be selected and invited to participate in the “advanced skills” sessions at no cost.
